Windmill Wines

Rich soil, warm Lodi sun and cool San Francisco Bay breezes, in combination with natural viticultural practices enable us to produce these fine wines.

Our great, great grandfather recognized the potential of this region when he homesteaded 160 acres on the western edge of Lodi, California in the 1860’s.

Today, the 6th generation of wine grape growers carries on the tradition of nurturing the old vines as well as promoting new varietals.

Our current releases include:

2006 Chardonnay

We have taken a different approach to our Chardonnay by cold fermenting and barrel aging only small portions to preserve the forward fruit character of this exciting wine.

On the nose you will be enticed by floral and citrus, followed by subtle vanilla and toasted almond aromas. On the palate: zesty lemon and pineapple lead to a well-structured, creamy finish.

Try our exciting Chardonnay with your favorite fish, poultry, pasta, or even grilled vegetables!!!
