These estate-grown grapes are twenty-five years old and are some of the first plantings of the Symphony varietal in the state. Symphony was developed in the 1940's at U.C. Davis. Dr. Olmo crossed a Muscat de Alexandria with a Grenache gris and came up with this new grape, which came to be known as Symphony. Thus, the grape is a true variety of California.
Ripe Honeydew melon and honeysuckle swirl together creating a bouquet of pure summer delight. Crisp, clean, and full of peach and tropical fruit flavors. Our Symphony goes great with spicy Thai-influenced dishes.
